Bliss Hill

Bliss first discovered her love for the medium at Bournemouth University where tutor Rob Marshall passed on his skill; it was here where her vibrant glass work was inspired by 60's psychedelic art and liquid light shows. Since graduating Bliss has gone on to win the ‘Fresh Air Scholarship’ with Loco glass where she worked alongside Colin Hawkins and had the opportunity to make her own installation focusing on the human form. She has recently worked tutoring at the Glass Hub teaching a colour techniques course. Bliss commented saying “glass for me is therapeutic, any stresses or worries from the day to day life soon disappear in the making process”.

Bliss takes commissions for decorative ornamental pieces as well as sculptural glass.
